Meet the Founder — Yamuna Sani
Yamuna Sani, an MBA and founder of XOORII, began as a fashion merchandiser, later working across teaching, sales, HR and branch management before running her own education enterprise for nearly 12 years.
Her love for fashion, styling and experimenting with looks remained constant. She noticed a gap in everyday Indian clothing: outdated silhouettes, restrictive fits and little focus on functionality.
In 2024, an idea for a small boutique evolved into XOORII. She spent nearly 1.5 years researching fabrics, manufacturing and patterns, refining samples for comfort, breathability, skin-friendliness, fit and functionality.
Her focus is clothing for real everyday life: relaxed silhouettes for easy movement and functional pockets for phones, keys and essentials, designed with the modern Indian woman in mind.
XOORII is her answer to the clothes she couldn't find — contemporary, comfortable and functional fashion, designed to be Distinctively Stylish.
